Hyundai recently introduced an all-new 2.5 cubic yard size loader to the U.S. market.   The new HL930A, HL930A XT and HL930A TM models are now available and in stock at many National Equipment Dealers, LLC locations.  This new model is a great fit for water and sewer utility contractors, farmers, general contractors, pipeline contractors, land clearing operations, mulch and landscape supply operations, and others. Below are a few reasons you should consider a new HL930A model for your operation.

THREE MODEL CONFIGURATIONS

Key Specs

MULTIPLE MACHINE CONFIGURATIONS

The HL930A is offered in three distinct model configurations.  The standard machine, model HL930A, is equipped with Hyundai’s new parallel z-bar linkage which provides the breakout performance common to any z-bar linkage, with improved bucket or fork leveling performance, making it ideal for stockpiling, truck loading, and working with pallet forks.  Hyundai also offers an extended reach (XT) version of their parallel Z-Bar model, the HL930A XT, which provides a higher hinge pin dump height of 13 feet 1 inch, ideal for higher dump clearance requirements, like taller truck beds or feed mixers.  Hyundai also offers a versatile HL930A TM (Tool Master) model, which is equipped with a standard Hyundai ISO-style quick coupler and a purpose-built parallel loader linkage that features two bucket cylinders instead of the Z-bar linkage.  The TM model offers improved load visibility from the cab along with excellent lifting capacity and level load control, ideal for using pallet forks or other attachments.

SMALLER FOOTPRINT

When compared to Hyundai’s larger HL940A, which is equipped with larger 20.5 x R25 tires, Hyundai’s HL930A is noticeably shorter, since it is equipped with smaller 17.5 x R25 radial tires.  These smaller profile tires contribute to a lower overall max working height of 10 feet 5 inches, allowing it to easily pass under most barn door entrances.  A slightly shorter wheelbase and smaller tires also contribute to a tighter turning radius of 17 feet 4 inches, making this model ideal for utility contractors who work alongside city streets or in other tight working environments.

CUMMINS POWERED

The new HL930A, HL930A XT, and HL930A TM models are all powered by a Cummins Tier 4 Final and Stage V compliant turbo diesel engine, model B4.5.  This powerful 4-cylinder engine is very fuel-efficient, but it packs a powerful net horsepower rating of 130 hp.

AUTOMATIC POWERSHIFT TRANSMISSION

The HL930A is equipped with a ZF automatic 4-speed power shift transmission.  This sets the Hyundai apart from many competitor models in the same class, that are equipped with hydrostatic transmissions.  Some of the benefits of the ZF automatic power shift transmission over a hydrostatic transmission include excellent torque when engaging a pile, reduced heat generation, and improved fuel economy specifically in load and carry or long-distance travel applications, and in many cases, reduced maintenance cost and longer service life.

AUTO-LOCKING FRONT DIFFERENTIAL

All three of Hyundai’s HL930A models are standard-equipped with a hydraulically actuated, auto-locking front differential, which provides automatic lock-up of the front differential when wheel spin is detected.  This feature provides excellent 4X4 traction control, ideal for slippery and soft ground conditions.

ON-BOARD WEIGHING & PRODUCTION TRACKING

The new A-Series loaders, including the HL930A, are all standard-equipped with a highly accurate onboard load weighing system, that measures the load to within plus or minus of 1% of the actual weight.  With the introduction of the innovative new A-Series, the weighing system was updated to include new functionalities for improved tracking.  Now the system can be programmed to save multiple operators by name, various material types, and specific projects. Daily production totals are uploaded to Hyundai’s HiMATE telematics system, which can be monitored online.

INDUSTRY-LEADING OPERATOR COMFORT

Hyundai’s loaders are known for spacious, comfortable operator cabs.  This new, smaller model is no exception. The large cab is equipped with an adjustable heated air-suspension seat, a tilting and telescoping steering wheel, auto-climate controlled A/C and heat, Bluetooth radio with mp3 and handsfree calling, a 7-inch color touchscreen monitor, heated mirrors, a rearview camera, and multiple storage compartments for added convenience.

ADDITIONAL STANDARD FEATURES

There are many other standard features that set this machine apart from other competitive models.  The HL930A is standard equipped with ride control, which can be programmed to engage automatically at a selectable speed in forward or reverse.  Ride control reduces bouncing when driving, especially when carrying a load.  The HL930A is also standard equipped with a 3rd or auxiliary spool for future installation of auxiliary attachments like a log grapple or root rake grapple.  Additionally, the machine is equipped with quick coupler piping from the factory, so it can be easily fitted with a hydraulic quick coupler to quickly change between attachments on the job site.

WARRANTY & TELEMATICS

Hyundai’s standard manufacturer’s warranty is 3-years or 3,000 hours on the full machine, plus an industry-leading 5-year or 10,000-hour structural guarantee and a limited-lifetime articulation joint warranty (good for the first owner only).  This great warranty can be extended through Hyundai, upon purchase or before the original warranty expires.  Hyundai offers extended warranties on the full machine at very reasonable prices for up to 5-years or 10,000-hours on the full machine.

Hyundai’s proprietary telematics system – HiMATE – is free for five years with all new Hyundai wheel loaders.  This system provides geolocation information, service interval tracking, machine operating data, and diagnostic information, all accessible through an internet connection or through Hyundai’s HiMATE App.
